Just behind our house, about a 10–15 minute walk away, sits the abandoned chapel 'Santo Spirito', after which our street is named. The chapel is largely overgrown with ivy and from the path you really have to know where it is, otherwise you walk right past… we're happy to share the 'secret' of how to find it. A glimpse inside Although we don't recommend going in, we can imagine it's nice to peek inside a little. On the back wall you can admire the remains of a rich altar in masonry and stucco, with black twisted columns. Wear sturdy shoes — the path is overgrown and muddy in the wet season.
